Tosinger says “Songwriting comes natural to me. My lyrics are usually influenced by real life experiences/lessons of life, folklore and nature, to encourage others and bring a sense of nostalgia sometimes. Musically, it is a mix of African rhythms, classical arrangements and lyrically, it might include wise sayings and the use of my Yoruba language rendered in a contemporary way, as a soulful ambient ballad, sometimes jazzy, sometimes on a mid tempo wave. If so inspired, I sing on layers of other genres including Jazz. I can also play around with tunes on the acoustic guitar and African percussions".
Tosinger’s music brand is one of African authenticity and roots, very original, organic and traditional, while at the same time, contemporary and classic.
